I placed a photo order online and received a phone call from the store saying they were ready. When I arrived at the store, the photo center associate couldn't find the photos and told me there was no record of the order. When I told her about the call, she said "we don't call." She didn't make any effort after that to help me or apologize. Walmart's customer service is terrible! If there was anywhere else around me shop, I would!!
My wife goes in to buy a gallon of milk. There are none in the refrigerator case but she can see the pallet in the case behind just not opened yet. She asked an employee if they could ask someone to break open the pallet so she can buy it. They tell her thats not their job and the other employees are no where to be found to stock the shelves.
When your employees constantly keep calling out of work there comes a time when you just have to be mean and tell them "If you dont come in for your shift then dont bother showing up at all" I shop at tnis store a minimum of 3 times a week and the one problem that is always present is understaffed. I know this because your employees tell me so. Saturday night at 8pm youd think would be a busy time. One register open with self checkout roped off 16 people in line at the one while the supervisors and CSM just stood there trying to call people on their walkie-talkies but not going over to a register to open it until they get releaved.
Pickups are a disaster they make you wait like 20 mins. Never have enough registers open. long lines.
Oh and when the new metal roofs that are on either side of the grocery entrance are constantly being caution taped off because in the winter the ice builds up on the metal and alides off onto your customers heads. Either remove the decorative roofs or put ice cleats on them and or a gutter. Stop just putting bandaids on the problem.
I ABSOLUTELY HATE SHOPPING AT WAL-MART THE ONLY TIME I EVER EVEN GO IS BETWEEN NOW AND CHRISTMAS EVE!! I HAVE A WAL-MART LESS THAN 2 MILES FROM MY HOUSE AND WILL DRIVE 15/20 FURTHER TO GO TO TARGET BCUZ THE PEOPLE WHO SHOP THERE ARE IGNORANT AS HELL AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE JUST AS BAD IF NOT WORSE MANAGER'S INCLUDED! BUT WHEN I DO GO THE 1 TIME OF YEAR A FEW DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS OR CHRISTMAS EVE I GO TO WAL-MART IN HAMPSTEAD MARYLAND! ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE DRIVE IT TAKES ME ABOUT 30/40 MINS TO GET THERE BUT IT'S WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF THE DRIVE THERE AND BACK BCUZ BY THE TIME I WOULD'VE WENT TO EITHER OF THE NIGHTMARISH WAL-MART'S WITHIN A 5 TO 15 MINUTE DRIVE FROM MY HOUSE AND THERE ARE 5 OF THEM MIND U I AM AT THE HAMPSTEAD LOCATION IN AND OUT AND HAVE NEVER NOT GOTTEN 1 THING I WENT THERE TO GET! IN FACT I'VE BEEN THERE SHOPPING FOR MY CHILDREN AND PICKED UP GIFTS FOR FRIENDS OF MINE THAT THEY STOOD IN LINE TO GET AT OTHER LOCATIONS THAT THEY EVEN CALLED TO MAKE SURE THEY HAD AND ONCE THERE TOLD NO WE'VE BEEN OUT OF THIS OR THAT!! THIS LOCATION IS THE ONLY WAL-MART I WILL EVER GO TO!! EVEN ON CHRISTMAS EVE I'VE WALKED IN GOTTEN EVERYTHING I WENT THERE FOR AND MORE BCUZ THIS STORE IS SO WELL RAN/MANAGED THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO HELPFUL, THOUGHTFUL AND THE MOST POLITE!! WELL WORTH THE DRIVE I WOULD DRIVE 2 HRS IF I HAD TO BCUZ I WOULD'VE STOOD IN LINE THAT LONG ANYWAY AT ANY OTHER WAL-MART! THIS STORE SHOULD BE TRAINING ALL OTHER STORES MANAGER'S INCLUDED!! THANK U HAMPSTEAD WAL-MART FOR BEING SUCH NICE, SWEET, DECENT, POLITE HUMAN BEINGS AND ALWAYS TRRATING UR CUSTOMER'S THE WAY U SHOULD TREAT THEM ESPICALLY WHEN PEOPLE ARE SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY!! GOOD JOB YOU ALL DESERVE PRAISES AND RAISES FOR BEING SUCH GOOD PEOPLE PERIOD!!
As a business owner myseld a manager should constantly walk the store trying to find things that can be fixed by simple communication. Trash on the floor, huge stains on the floor, shelves coming off the rack, items not being stocked for extended periods of time.
Ran in thanksgiving for the things I forgot. Everyone was very nice even though they had to work a holiday. Everything was very well stocked
